An evening in the life of the Palmer children- Edmonton lifestyle photographer.
I had planned in taking the kids to rent a movie. I thought that would be a neat thing to do while they were still around. Well it seams I was a little too late, the store had closed. So, instead we decided to take them to Walmart and buy a movie. One thing leads to another and we ended up leaving with a Classic: "Star Wars", a popcorn machine and some treats. Thalia had never seen popcorn be made that way and she was enchanted. Our little expedition exemplifies what I love about modern storytelling photography. Things can turn out completely different from what you had envisioned because life is unpredictable; and the end result can turn out to be so much more than you had expected. Thalia refused to take off the earmuffs and her hair was a "total mess" but nothing can take away the excitement and wonder of experiencing something for the first time. It was perfect because of the imperfections in it. I love the fact that she will be able to have the memory of that moment forever. "There is joy and wonder everywhere when you see the world through the eyes of a child".
